Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing

The White River Nordic Council shares cross country ski information and plans events for winter skiing fun. Free snowshoe rentals are available at the Meeker Recreation Center

Trip Idea: Take 2.2 mile Marvine snow trail which leads to a unique warming hut, maintained by local residents. Driving directions to the Marvine Trail: 2 miles east of Meeker take Co Rd 8 upriver 28 miles. Turn right at Co Rd 12 crossing the bridge at Fritzlan’s. At Fritzlan’s corner turn left and go approx 3 miles toward the Marvine Campground. The trail head begins where the snow plowing has ended.
