About the Meeker Classic

The Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials (held the week following Labor Day every September) offers five days of sheepdog herding competition for a purse and added money totaling $25,000. The Meeker Classic intertwines sheepdog trials, education, culture and history into a week long showcase of sportsmanship, volunteerism and friendship. Even more so significant is the true sense of community it elicits for all those involved.
