August 27th, 2022 10am – 7pm

Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds
835 Sulphur Creek Road
Meeker, CO 81641

The Wild, Wild West will be in Meeker again on August 27th, 2022, when 20 Horse Trainers from across the west come together to compete for prize money and scholarships after just 120 days of training a Wild American Mustang. We will have an in-hand Yearling division for the Youth Trainer (10-17) as well as the 60 and Over Horse Lover.
The Under Saddle horses (3yrs) combine both youth and adult trainers, who show off their horses paces, do some cow work, and an exciting free style event where anything goes.
The judges and crowd will be on hand to watch how each of these trainers do.
Horses will be auctioned off at the completion of the event in the evening, so this is your chance to take home your own American
If you’d like to be a trainer, applications are on the website.
