STAY
With Meeker being “off the beaten path,” extend your visit and stay overnight to experience modern amenities with hometown charm and hospitality. Hotels, Cabins, RV parks and even tiny homes offer a comfortable place to rest up and star gaze before the next days adventure.
DINE
Meeker’s restaurants are owned and operated by local entrepreneurs and offer something for everyone. Early birds can grab a hot coffee and pastry to-go before adventuring for the day. Take a mid-day break with a layered deli sandwich or homemade soup, then wind down with dinner reservations for authentic ethnic or American scratch kitchen cuisine. Enjoy outdoor dining during the summer seasons.
shop
Meeker offers a variety of shops welcoming you to spend the day strolling around town. From antiques, to country home décor or one-of kind Meeker made products, you can shop while also exploring our downtown National Historic District.
PLAY
Meeker offers many ways to play right in town at our parks and playgrounds, at the Meeker Recreation Center and the Meeker Golf Course. Save some time to explore the White River Museum exhibits and look for the two-headed calf and the original 1800’s stagecoach that Teddy Roosevelt rode when he came to Meeker for his hunting trips.
